Thoughts running deep in my head
In and out they fade
As I ponder the creation of me
In the Trinity Character and Image

Formation of the tent I live in
In genesis two
Captured my attention

Drawing close to a mirror
Seeing the image that
Usually I thought it was me
But actually it is the house I live in

So who am I ? selah
If I am created in GOD’s Character and Image, then what is His Character and Image?

Thoughts asking question thoughts
Then Holy Spirit reminded me
What Christ Taught
GOD is a Spirit.

Wow so I am a spirit.

Isaiah also said God has a Soul
Now this answers my question.

I am a spirit having a soul and living in this body
It is like the sun, heat and light.

spirit => light
soul => heat
body => sun

Owkay great but…

If I can see my tent in a mirror
Then where is the mirror to see the real me?!

Then James answered me
And said what you see in the Word that is the real you.
And he adviced me to be the doer of what I see in the Word.

  1. Your writing style here is very intriguing. I like it and the questions you ask. They are right on. Thank you for visiting and following Spirituality Without Borders. I appreciate your presence there.

  2. Thanks for connecting, Caroline. I would say, Keep going with this poem–stream of consciousness! See where you end up. (Reminds me that I recently heard a poet give a reading of a poem she was writing about her father, and it was endless. A poem to never stop writing.)
